This time last year Raquel and I were in Portugal secretly scouting wedding locations in preparation for a wedding which we hadn’t told anyone about. That was 12 months ago and at the time we kept saying, “we have more than enough time to get things done!”
Now, only four months stand between the present and the wedding date and that is kind of scary! It is scary how quickly time has ‘woooshed’ past without hesitation or delay, however if some couple are ‘Dumb and Dumber’, we are ‘Organized and Organizeder (?!?!)’. Well let’s say that if it nor for this quality, we would be panicking right now.
For now my thoughts dwell on my good fortune on finding someone I love unconditionally and loves me the same way; someone who accepts for who I am; someone who is understanding; someone for who I want to change my bad habits for; most of all fortunate that this person wants to spend the rest of their lives with me, despite my foul morning moods, odd morning hair and love for gadgets!
In four months we will make the ultimate promise to each other in front of family and friends, and I for one, look forward to it and am happy to make that promise!
