Photo of the Week: The lost children of Africa

Today some colleagues and I went to an orphanage to hand out some toys, as part of my company’s social programmes in Beira. It was at times a heartbreaking day to see little children, some of them small babies, simply being abandoned in hospitals after birth, but uplifting to see us put a smile on their faces. Eva, is the name of the girl in the photo, who had the most captivating eyes.

Eva's curious eyes looking at me

Below are some more faces from the orphanage, with one special boy called Abilio, who was crying when I picked him up and simply just lay his head against me stopped crying.

More beautiful from the orphanage

  1. This so sad. I wish I could care for them all. I need to be made a billionaire, quickly.
