Photo of the Week: Under the African Skies

Last weekend we were invited for a braai (Barbeque for those non South African readers) at a colleague’s house in Kyalami. The view from the house n this less urban bit of Kyalami was simply fantastic, especially the sunset. I keep saying this, but there really is something different about African sunsets! Enjoy!DSC_0335

Awesome, I have so many photographs of sunsets taken in South Africa because they are just not the same anywhere else in the world. My best photo which I will post up was taken at Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe. And the most awesome sunsets that I have never been able to capture on camera have been when driving West towards Soweto in the evening, there is something about the Smog that adds to the beauty.

  2. Amazing, amazing, amazing shot! Hope to travel to Africa soon and experience this myself 🙂
